Business Development Manager Opportunity

Join HR GO PLC, a leading recruitment agency supporting UK Manufacturing, in this exciting Business Development Manager role. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maximizing business through sales and networking in the London and South of England region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Field Sales: Promote a comprehensive range of fire and smoke safety HVAC products to top-tier main construction contractors and M&E consultants.
  • Travel & Office Work: Spend three days a week on the road and two days in our Kent office, collaborating with the field sales team and supporting the Sales Director.
  • Project Management: Secure projects and manage relationships with key clients, ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Specification Sales: Win specifications with M&E consultants and HVAC distributors, driving business growth and revenue.
  • Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with M&E contractors and HVAC distributors, identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts.
  • Business Development: Focus 70% on new business development and 30% on account management, driving business growth and revenue.
  • Order Management: Follow specifications through to order, with values ranging from £100k - 300k, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Ideal Candidate:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual with a proven track record in field sales, particularly in HVAC-related products and fire safety. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Sales Experience: Proven track record in field sales with HVAC-related products, ideally in fire safety.
  • Client Relationships: Experience selling to top-tier main contractors or HVAC specification field sales experience with M&E consultants.
  • Product Knowledge: No specific knowledge of fire safety products required, as full product training will be provided.
  • Skills: Ability to generate new business, manage and expand existing accounts, work independently and as part of a team, strong communication skills, IT literacy, and a driven attitude.

This is a permanent role with a basic salary that depends on experience, and the expectation that this salary would be more than doubled with bonus & commission. You must have current UK right to work to be considered.
