The Role

As the Venue Sales Director, you will spearhead the sales strategy at one of our premier locations. This position is pivotal in transitioning the sales approach from reactive to proactive, with the objective of significantly boosting bookings for events such as conferences, weddings, and meetings. You will be tasked with formulating and executing strategic sales initiatives, cultivating robust relationships with clients, and collaborating closely with the Food and Beverage Operations team to develop appealing event packages. Furthermore, you will provide support to the on-site sales team, ensuring a consistent and professional client service experience.

The Ideal Candidate

The perfect candidate will possess a strong background in sales, particularly within the hospitality or events sector, with a demonstrated history of driving revenue growth. You should be commercially astute, with a strategic mindset for identifying and capitalizing on opportunities. Experience in leading or mentoring a sales team would be advantageous, as you will guide on-site sales efforts. We seek an individual who is proactive, self-driven, and capable of taking the initiative to meet sales objectives. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, as you will need to work effectively with other teams to create compelling event offerings.
