Get Golfing CIO is seeking an enthusiastic Function and Events Sales professional to join our team at Hampton Court. As a Function and Events Sales representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our event services and facilities to individuals and businesses. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure a seamless planning and execution of all events. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our events department.
- Promote and sell event services and facilities to potential clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Conduct site visits and showcase the venue and event spaces.
- Collaborate with the events team to develop tailored event proposals and packages.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth event execution.
- Manage event bookings, contracts, and invoicing.
- Attend networking events and trade shows to generate new leads and business opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the events or hospitality industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of event planning and execution processes.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
