Role Overview

We are seeking a Construction Supervisor to oversee our onshore operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support onshore construction and commissioning teams.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly progress reports to project management.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as per company protocols.
  • Prioritize work scopes and assign tasks according to project timelines.
  • Guarantee timely delivery of construction work packages.
  • Maintain quality assurance of deliverables in line with corporate guidelines.
  • Ensure health, safety, and environmental expectations are met.
  • Communicate scope changes and provide insights to planning and cost management teams.
  • Participate in client meetings and contribute to project documentation.
  • Manage logistics and mobilization efforts effectively.
  • Oversee the successful planning and execution of construction activities.
  • Ensure safe and environmentally responsible completion of offshore tasks.
  • Manage materials, equipment, and offshore resources efficiently.
  • Verify that all hired equipment meets certification standards and is managed cost-effectively.
  • Facilitate change management through the established processes.
  • Coordinate the preservation of equipment and maintain accurate records.
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments for offshore personnel.
  • Ensure adherence to the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER).
  • Perform ongoing competence assessments for onshore staff.
  • Implement disciplinary procedures when necessary, following a Just Culture approach.
  • Manage construction budgets effectively.
  • Accurately compile progress data and submit to planning teams promptly.
  • Address non-conformances according to project specifications.
  • Inform project teams of critical requirements for task completion, including revisions and materials.
  • Engage in problem-solving discussions and recommend corrective actions to management.
  • Oversee lifting and LOLER planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with clients both onshore and offshore.
  • Participate in HAZID, HWNF, and risk assessments.
  • Manage third-party and vendor relationships.
