Position Overview

We are seeking a Construction Supervisor to oversee our construction and commissioning teams onshore. This role is crucial in ensuring that our projects are executed efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate onshore construction and commissioning personnel.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly progress reports to the project management team.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards as per company protocols.
  • Prioritize work scopes and assign tasks in alignment with project timelines.
  • Guarantee timely completion and delivery of construction work packages.
  • Maintain quality standards for deliverables in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  • Ensure health, safety, and environmental expectations are met on all sites.
  • Communicate scope changes and provide necessary input to cost and planning teams.
  • Participate in client meetings and contribute to project documentation as needed.
  • Assist in the management of logistics and mobilization efforts.
  • Oversee the planning and successful execution of onshore and offshore activities.
  • Ensure environmentally responsible completion of offshore tasks.
  • Manage materials, equipment, and plant operations offshore.
  • Verify that all hired equipment meets certification requirements and is managed cost-effectively.
  • Effectively handle changes through the Management of Change (MoC) process.
  • Coordinate the preservation of equipment and maintain accurate records.
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments for offshore personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER).
  • Perform ongoing competence assessments for onshore staff.
  • Implement and document disciplinary procedures when necessary, following a Just Culture approach.
  • Manage construction budgets effectively.
  • Accurately compile progress data and submit to planning teams promptly.
  • Address non-conformances in line with project specifications.
  • Inform project teams of critical requirements for successful project completion.
  • Engage in problem analysis and recommend corrective actions to management.
  • Oversee lifting and LOLER planning and execution.
  • Maintain communication with clients both onshore and offshore.
  • Participate in HAZID, HWNF, and risk assessments.
  • Manage third-party and vendor relationships.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in managing construction functions on major projects or within large organizations.
  • Experience in contributing to construction and corporate strategies.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the offshore oil and gas sector.
