Position Overview

We are seeking a Construction Supervisor to oversee our operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our construction and commissioning teams operate efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directing and supporting onshore construction and commissioning teams.
  • Preparing and distributing weekly progress reports to project management.
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations as per company standards.
  • Prioritizing work scopes and assigning tasks in accordance with project timelines.
  • Guaranteeing the timely delivery of construction work packages.
  • Maintaining quality standards for all deliverables in line with corporate guidelines.
  • Ensuring health, safety, and environmental expectations are met on-site.
  • Communicating scope changes and collaborating with cost and planning teams as necessary.
  • Participating in client meetings and contributing to project documentation.
  • Assisting in the management of logistics and mobilization.
  • Overseeing the successful execution of construction projects.
  • Managing materials, equipment, and plant operations on-site.
  • Ensuring all equipment meets certification requirements and is managed efficiently.
  • Effectively handling changes through the Management of Change process.
  • Coordinating the preservation of equipment and maintaining accurate records.
  • Conducting evaluations and assessments for personnel.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Performing ongoing competence assessments for onshore staff.
  • Implementing disciplinary procedures when necessary, adhering to Just Culture principles.
  • Managing construction budgets effectively.
  • Accurately tracking progress and reporting to planning teams.
  • Addressing non-conformances according to project specifications.
  • Advising on critical requirements for project completion.
  • Engaging in problem analysis and recommending corrective actions.
  • Overseeing lifting and LOLER planning and execution.
  • Maintaining communication with clients both onshore and offshore.
  • Participating in HAZID, HWNF, and risk assessments.
  • Managing third-party and vendor relationships.
Qualifications
  • Experience in managing construction functions on major projects or within large organizations.
  • Experience in contributing to construction and corporate strategies.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the offshore oil and gas sector.
