Job Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Jupiter Recruitment.

About the Role: As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients in a specialist nursing home setting. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes and contribute to the development of our clinical services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administration of Mental Health Act: You will be responsible for the administration of the Mental Health Act, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care and support.
  • Clinical Policy and Standards: You will work with our clinical team to develop and implement clinical policies and standards that meet the needs of our patients.
  • Medical Service Management: You will be responsible for managing and evaluating the medical service, ensuring that it is of the highest standard and meets the needs of our patients.
  • Collaboration with External Stakeholders: You will work with external stakeholders to map and facilitate the service users' journey back into the community.
  • Training and Development: You will contribute to the training, education, and development of staff of all disciplines.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Psychiatry: You will have a strong understanding of current developments in psychiatry and other aspects of mental health.
  • Change Management: You will have knowledge of change management, relevant legislation, and contemporary cases in mental and physical health.
