This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a highly regarded care organization specializing in mental health, learning disabilities, and autism services. The organization focuses on providing exceptional care for a male clientele, particularly in the area of neurological rehabilitation across multiple locations.

This role offers a dynamic and varied work environment with ample opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately communicate patient care information to patients, families, and both internal and external professionals, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with Information Governance principles.
  • Conduct pre-admission assessments to evaluate patient needs.
  • Oversee the unit's budget and financial management to ensure profitability.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of policies, procedures, and CQC compliance requirements.
  • Supervise all clinical practices and nursing personnel.
  • Effectively manage non-qualified staff and liaise with qualified nursing staff.
  • Promote continuous service improvement as part of Clinical Quality monitoring.
  • Maintain high standards of care, respond to feedback and complaints, and implement effective systems in line with CQC standards.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven management experience and relevant training.
  • Strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility in working hours.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic IT proficiency.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
