Role Overview
Situated at our Northampton facility, you will oversee the clinical administration processes within the division, ensuring a high-quality and responsive service to clinical leaders. You will support the adoption of innovative processes and procedures aimed at enhancing outcomes and experiences for patients, families, and caregivers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage and allocate administrative resources, continuously monitoring and enhancing the quality and efficiency of services provided.
- Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives for the administration function, identifying and addressing any challenges that impede the daily operations of the administration team.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders within the division and across the charity, building positive working relationships to deliver high service standards.
- Oversee the management and development of the clinical administration team (approximately 10 members), including absence and performance management, supervision, and professional development.
- Administer divisional governance, supporting assurance processes and taking responsibility for assigned Points of Assurance, while addressing issues through governance structures.
- Gather and disseminate outcomes and performance data to facilitate ongoing improvements in patient care.
- Ensure that governance documentation (including QIPR presentations, QiP, Risk Register, Datix logs, and complaints) is current and accessible.
This role is dynamic and operates within a busy environment, requiring adaptability to changing timelines. You will be expected to demonstrate flexibility, work collaboratively as part of a team, and independently while showcasing exceptional organizational skills.
