Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Clinic Coordinator at Northampton General Hospital. As a Clinic Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our outpatient clinics, providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our clinical teams.
Main Responsibilities
Assist with the coordination of clinics, ensuring effective time management and staff availability.
Ensure all relevant databases and patient information systems are up-to-date.
Prepare case note folders and complete necessary documentation for new patients.
Ensure patients' notes are correctly completed with patient details.
Ensure all correspondence and documentation are filed promptly and cross-referenced when necessary.
Assist and actively participate in patient tracking, including booking appointments, chasing results, and monitoring waiting lists.
Prepare and collate statistical information as required and input to database if appropriate.
Provide general administrative services, including photocopying, filing, and other office routines.
Liaise with other Trust departments, GPs, and healthcare agencies as required.
Assist and help colleagues when needed.
Provide cross-cover within the administration team during absence, including covering Reception on limited occasions.
Requirements
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work accurately and prioritize tasks effectively.
Experience of working in an administration-based role, preferably within the NHS.
GCSE level or equivalent education.
