About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and communicative individual to join our team as a Clinic Coordinator at Northampton General Hospital. As a key member of our General Surgery team, you will be responsible for coordinating patient appointments, ensuring accurate recording of clinical activity, and providing exceptional support to our clinical teams.
Main Responsibilities
- Coordinate outpatient clinics, ensuring efficient time management and effective communication with consultants and administration staff.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date patient information systems, including databases and health records.
- Prepare case note folders and complete necessary documentation for new patients.
- Provide administrative support, including photocopying, filing, and other office routines.
- Liaise with other Trust departments, GPs, and healthcare agencies as required.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work accurately and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience of working in an administration-based role, preferably within the NHS.
