About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our dynamic Theatre Management team at Northampton General Hospital. As an Orthopaedic Scrub Team Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our 4 Theatre complex.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting Clinical Excellence: Act as a clinical leader and role model for all staff, maintaining a visible presence and addressing concerns and complaints.
  • Leadership: Lead by example with drive and enthusiasm, responding appropriately to the needs of patients, families, and carers.
  • Departmental Management: Manage and lead designated departments, maintaining good morale, a team approach to work, and a culture that fosters innovation and change.
  • Communication: Ensure effective communication channels within the department, directorate, and Trust.
Requirements
  • Time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Ability to influence change.
  • Recent substantial experience within theatres.
  • Management experience.
  • Leadership Experience.
  • Knowledge of Governance.
