Location: Flexible

Salary: £42,500 to £48,900

Are you driven by the desire to impact the lives of children and families positively? We are looking for a passionate and innovative Human Resources and Culture Lead to become a vital part of our dedicated team at Children 1st.

If you are enthusiastic about creating a supportive, inclusive, and positive workplace, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.

This role is newly established within the People and Culture Team, coinciding with the implementation of a new HR Information System. This initiative will involve the design, development, rollout, and integration of new HR and Learning & Development policies, processes, and practices.

Whether you are directly engaging with children and families or working behind the scenes, we collaborate with one another in the same manner we engage with the children we aim to support.

We prioritize connection, trust, and understanding, and every member of the Children 1st team plays a pivotal role in safeguarding Scotland's children.

Key Responsibilities:

- Demonstrate a robust understanding of HR policies and processes in alignment with employment law and best practices, always prioritizing people.

- Adapt and thrive in a structured environment while exhibiting flexibility and creativity to ensure fairness over mere consistency.

- Foster a relational approach and excel in a high-challenge, high-support culture.

What We Value:
- Flexibility and collaboration in your approach
- Expertise in your field
- Enjoyment in working within a high-challenge, high-support environment

Why Consider This Opportunity?
- Make a significant impact in the lives of children and families
- Be part of a dedicated and passionate workforce
- Access to professional growth and development opportunities
- Competitive salary and benefits package
- Supportive and inclusive workplace culture

Work Arrangement:
Your primary work location will be flexible, with options for occasional remote work.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary, generous annual leave (40 days including 7 public holidays, pro rata), flexible working arrangements, and a contributory pension scheme.

Additional Information:

This is a permanent, full-time position of 35 hours per week, designed to be worked flexibly to accommodate the needs of the team.
