Support Worker PositionWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Bristol, Somerset. This role involves working with a young individual who has cerebral palsy, providing essential care and companionship.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with personalized routines to ensure the client's daily activities are enjoyable and fulfilling.
- Assist in implementing the client's care program, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized living environment by assisting with household cleaning tasks.
- Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a positive and nurturing relationship with the client.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and promptly report any changes in the client's condition to relevant healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate effectively with a team of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for the client.
- Previous experience working as a Support Worker or in a similar role is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for building strong relationships with the client, their family, and healthcare professionals.
- A compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature is vital for providing sensitive and supportive care.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential for successful collaboration within the caregiving environment.
- Flexibility to work the specified hours is required to meet the client's needs effectively.

Training & Background Checks
An enhanced DBS check and comprehensive training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client. You will also receive ongoing support from our clinical lead nurse for the area.
