About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide support to an active and outgoing 34-year-old woman with cerebral palsy. This individual utilizes a wheelchair full-time and requires assistance with various daily tasks.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized care, including hoisting, bathing, dressing, toileting, and medication administration (with guidance).
  • Manage household duties such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
  • Drive a medium-sized wheelchair accessible vehicle for outings and appointments.

About the Individual

This individual is independent, friendly, and enjoys an active lifestyle. She participates in swimming, gym workouts, Zumba classes, and social events. She values a clean and well-maintained home and appreciates a caring and reliable support system.

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK driving license with the ability to drive a manual vehicle.
  • Non-smoker due to asthma.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work later evening shifts for social events (with advance notice).
  • References and DBS checks are required.
