Active Care Group is a leading provider of neuro and mental healthcare services in the UK. We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Rehabilitation Activities Coordinator to join our team at the Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre in Bristol.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a social, recreational, and leisure activity programme in partnership with our existing Activities Co-ordinators. This will involve individual and group activities within the unit and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver a programme of social and recreational activities to meet the needs of brain injured patients in the acute rehabilitation setting.
  • Work closely with the multi-disciplinary therapy team to ensure a comprehensive and effective activity programme.
  • Drive the Centre Minibus and Car as required.

Requirements:

  • Interest and experience in running groups.
  • Understanding of the value of activity and structure in an acute rehabilitation setting.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and under own initiative.
