Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Female Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients with physical and learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Support clients with mobility and transfer needs, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Encourage clients to participate in activities that promote independence, socialization, and community engagement.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of client care and progress.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in care and support, such as NVQ or equivalent.
- Experience working with clients with physical and learning disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid DBS check and ability to maintain confidentiality.
