We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Female Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients with cerebral palsy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as personal care and hygiene
  • Support clients to access community activities and complete therapy programs
  • Liaise with family members and other professionals to ensure seamless care
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records
  • Provide distance administration support to progress ongoing input

Requirements:

  • NVQ (or equivalent) in care and recent training
  • Experience of caring for people with physical and/or learning disabilities
  • Positive interest in active rehabilitation and desire to enable clients to reach their full potential
  • Female (due to occupational nature of the role)
  • Full UK driving license and confidence to drive clients' cars
  • Excellent communication skills, especially with clients, family members, and other professionals
  • DBS on the update service or will complete an enhanced DBS if successful

Desirable:

  • Experience of managing others and knowledge of organizing staff rotas
  • Current training in areas such as equality, diversity, and inclusion, health and safety at work, and safeguarding vulnerable adults
