Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Female Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients with physical and learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Support clients with mobility and transfer needs, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Encourage clients to participate in activities that promote independence, socialization, and community engagement.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of client care and progress.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in care and support, such as NVQ or equivalent.
  • Experience working with clients with physical and learning disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid DBS check and ability to maintain confidentiality.
