About the Role:
Milestones Trust is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Casual Support Workers. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and/or supported living requirements. Your primary responsibility will be to assist individuals in developing their independence, promoting their active participation in their chosen community, and encouraging choice and involvement in their own lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with day-to-day activities, such as personal care, cooking, housework, and attending activities they may be interested in.
- Work with individuals to encourage independence, choice, and involvement in their own lives.
- Support individuals in developing their skills and abilities to live independently.
- Collaborate with the support team to ensure high-quality care and support is provided to individuals.

Requirements:
- At least 6 months' experience as a Support Worker/Care Assistant or equivalent in a similar setting.
- Currently studying health sciences subjects at undergraduate/postgraduate level.
- Full valid British driving license (manual gear).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, individuals, and stakeholders.
- Kind and caring attitude, proactive approach, and willingness to be flexible and adaptable.
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
- Commitment to delivering a high-quality service to individuals.
