Job Title: Support Worker

We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Bristol. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting learning disabled adults to live their best lives.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities. Your role will involve supporting people to develop their skills, achieve their goals, and maintain important relationships with their family and friends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily support to individuals with learning disabilities, including personal care, medication management, and daily tasks.
  • Support individuals to develop their skills and achieve their goals, such as planning their weekly shop or attending their favorite gig.
  • Build relationships with individuals and their families, providing emotional support and guidance as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure high-quality care and support is provided.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations.
  • Valid driving license and access to a car (desirable).
