About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at St Mungo's. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to individuals experiencing homelessness, helping them to rebuild their lives and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support to clients, helping them to set and achieve personal goals and develop the skills and confidence they need to live independently.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to ensure that clients receive comprehensive and coordinated support.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the issues faced by individuals experiencing homelessness, and the complexities of the support system.
  • Contribute to the development of effective support plans and strategies, tailored to the unique needs and circumstances of each client.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge, and stay up-to-date with best practices in support work.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and empathetic individual with a passion for supporting vulnerable people. As a Support Worker, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

You will also need to demonstrate a strong understanding of the issues faced by individuals experiencing homelessness, and a commitment to providing high-quality support that is tailored to the unique needs and circumstances of each client.
