About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring they receive the best possible experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Support residents with their food and drink, ensuring their nutritional needs are met
  • Follow care plans and ensure residents receive the best possible care
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure residents receive a high standard of care

About You

To be successful as a Care Support Worker, you will need to have:

  • Experience of caring for older people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A can-do approach and a willingness to learn
  • Empathy and a warm-hearted approach

Working Hours

This is a Bank position, which means you will work on an as-needed basis to provide cover for our care homes. Your hours and days will vary, but we will ensure you receive a fair and competitive rate of pay.
