Female Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team in providing high-quality care and support to a 39-year-old lady with cerebral palsy.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the client with all transfers and personal care needs
- Support the client to access community activities and complete therapy programmes under the direction of therapists
- Communicate effectively with the client, her family, and other professionals involved in her care
- Drive the client's car and be confident in doing so
- NVQ (or equivalent) in care and recent training would be an advantage
- Experience of caring for people with physical and/or learning disabilities
- Positive interest in active rehabilitation and a desire to enable the client to reach her full potential
- Female (due to the occupational nature of the role)
- Full UK driving licence and confidence in driving the client's car
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Competitive hourly rate

We are a friendly, forward-thinking company, recently awarded the title of Case Management company of the year, who help our clients recruit their own support workers. You will be employed directly by the client, however, WestCountry Case Management oversee all aspects of the client's care package on her behalf.
