Job Opportunity: Female Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Female Support Worker to join our team and provide exceptional care to a vibrant 39-year-old woman with cerebral palsy. This individual enjoys an active lifestyle and thrives on engaging in community activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the client in maintaining her independence by supporting her daily routines, personal care, and mobility needs.
  • Facilitate communication and interaction with family members, therapists, and other professionals involved in her care.
  • Encourage participation in community activities, outings, and social events to enhance her quality of life.
  • Implement personalized care plans tailored to her specific needs and preferences.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to her care and progress.
Qualifications:
  • A genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and a commitment to their well-being.
  • Experience working with individuals who have physical and/or learning disabilities, particularly those requiring assistance with personal care and mobility.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with the client, family members, and healthcare professionals.
  • A valid UK driving license and willingness to drive the client's vehicle.
  • An NVQ (or equivalent) in care is preferred but not essential.
  • A DBS check on the update service or willingness to complete one upon successful application.
