About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Compass Independent Living. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently and fulfill their potential.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living tasks, medication administration, and mobility.
  • Support clients with their daily routines, including meal preparation, household chores, and social activities.
  • Assist clients with accessing the community, including transportation and accompaniment to appointments.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, promoting their mental and emotional well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the care team to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a care or support role, preferably with individuals with complex needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Valid DBS check and ability to work in a regulated environment.
  • Fluent English language skills, both written and verbal.
