Job Title: Specialist Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Physiotherapist to join our team at County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in providing expert physiotherapy services to patients with neurological conditions, including stroke.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with neurological conditions.
  • Provide expert physiotherapy services to patients in their own homes and out-patient settings.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and effective rehabilitation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, carers, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practice guidelines and protocols.
Requirements:
  • HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
  • Experience in neurological rehabilitation, including stroke rehabilitation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
