The establishment also boasts 12 recently refurbished en-suite rooms, with complimentary breakfast served in the pub.

Acquired by Country House Weddings in 2020, we leverage over 30 years of experience in hospitality, customer service, and event coordination, ensuring our patrons receive exceptional care.

Our vibrant team consists of talented chefs, amiable bar and wait staff, seasoned managers, and committed housekeepers who consistently provide high-quality service throughout our establishment.

The Grounds and Maintenance Assistant will undertake a dual role, necessitating weekend shifts on a rotational basis. Responsibilities will include performing regular inspections to ensure the efficient operation of the premises and its equipment. We are looking for a reliable, professional team player.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of public areas
  • Assisting with room arrangements and moving furniture
  • Ensuring guest safety through appropriate signage
  • Demonstrating physical strength for handling large items
  • Exhibiting effective communication skills to understand customer needs
  • Possessing basic maintenance skills for DIY tasks
  • Performing tasks such as changing light bulbs, painting, and decorating
  • Conducting regular checks on gas and kerosene levels, drains, bio unit, and waste bins
  • Managing lawn care during summer and basic maintenance

This role is available for part-time, casual, or contract-based employment, with the potential for full-time work for the right candidate.
