Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Coordinator to join our team at Michael Page Property & Construction. As a Facilities Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, security, and cleaning of our office and warehouse space in the Hereford area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Log maintenance issues on our CAFM system to ensure prompt resolution and minimize downtime.
  • Implement best business practices to control and reduce operational costs, ensuring a high level of efficiency and productivity.
  • Book and maintain Preventative Maintenance (PM) records for premises and equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all contractors, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Carry out site inductions for contractors and visitors as required, issuing permits for work and ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify wear and tear, damage, and deficiencies, recommending corrective actions to prevent future issues.
  • Manage the cleaning and maintenance teams, ensuring they are equipped to provide high-quality services and meet the needs of our business, staff, contractors, and visitors.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an FM Coordinator or Supervisor role, with a strong understanding of facilities management principles and practices.
  • Ideal candidate will possess a H&S qualification (IOSH) and excellent people management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Experience managing external contractors and a strong understanding of contract management principles.
  • Competent with the use of Microsoft Office and administrative tasks, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
