We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at Strive Supply Chain services ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate maintenance work, including routine safety inspections and correspondence with contractors.
- Plan and control operational costs, including obtaining quotations and reducing expenses.
- Provide and record project planning details to stakeholders.
- Induct and establish effective working relationships with contractors and facilities staff.
- Carry out regular site inspections, audits, and monitoring of maintenance records.
- Maintain Permit to Work logs for contractors and maintenance operations.
- Respond to emergency situations and host contractors as needed.
- Ensure sites are prepared for adverse weather conditions.
- Manage the cleaning, facilities, and maintenance teams.
- Ensure all teams and contractors adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Ensure all internal and external areas of the facilities are maintained to a high standard.
- Support the management of the canteen, staff policies, and processes.
- Manage 3rd-party security companies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good analytical skills.
- Excellent time management and time appreciation.
- Methodical and logical thinking.
- Ability to prioritize and communicate change.
- Excellent organizational skills.

- Flexibility within the role.
