Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Coordinator to join our team at Michael Page Property & Construction. As a Facilities Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, security, and cleaning of our office and warehouse space in the Hereford area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Log maintenance issues on our CAFM system to ensure prompt resolution and minimize downtime.
  • Implement best business practices to control and reduce operational costs, ensuring the efficient use of resources.
  • Book and maintain Preventative Maintenance (PM) records for premises and equipment to ensure compliance and optimal performance.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all contractors, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Conduct site inductions for contractors and visitors as required, issuing permits for work and ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Perform regular site inspections to identify wear and tear, damage, and deficiencies, taking corrective action as necessary.
  • Manage the cleaning and maintenance teams, ensuring they are equipped to meet the needs of the business, staff, contractors, and visitors.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an FM Coordinator or Supervisor role, with a strong understanding of facilities management principles.
  • Ideal candidate will possess a H&S qualification (IOSH) and excellent people management skills.
  • Experience managing external contractors and a competent understanding of Microsoft Office and administrative tasks.
