Position Overview

Candela Medical is a prominent global leader in the aesthetic device sector, renowned for its extensive product range and international distribution capabilities. We excel in the innovation, production, and distribution of advanced medical and aesthetic laser technologies. Our cutting-edge solutions empower healthcare professionals to deliver effective treatments for a variety of medical-aesthetic needs, including hair removal, wrinkle reduction, tattoo removal, and the management of skin conditions such as acne and scarring.

Our organization is dedicated to developing state-of-the-art products tailored for the global aesthetic market. These innovations stem from the collaborative efforts of our exceptional team of scientists and engineers, as well as through strategic acquisitions and licensing agreements. Our development initiatives are bolstered by our global clinical, regulatory, and quality assurance teams, ensuring adherence to our Product Development Process (PDP) and Quality Management System (QMS).

With our headquarters situated in Marlborough, Massachusetts, and an additional research and development facility in Yokneam, Israel, we maintain a strong commercial presence across Asia Pacific and Europe. Our products are directly marketed in numerous countries and supported by a robust network of field service, clinical education, and marketing development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the designated sales territory, formulating strategies to enhance Candela's market presence.
  • Identify key opinion leaders (KOLs), acquire new clientele, and nurture existing relationships.
  • Facilitate the introduction of new products into the market.
  • Meet and exceed established sales targets.
  • Segment the market to identify and prioritize key customers.
  • Develop an annual business and marketing strategy.

Sales Policy Implementation:

  • Execute the sales policy within the assigned territory.
  • Present Candela's product offerings with professionalism and expertise.
  • Engage with healthcare professionals and laser users in a respectful and knowledgeable manner.
  • Monitor competitor activities and report relevant market intelligence.

Sales Forecasting:

  • Utilize CRM tools to analyze and manage customer portfolios.
  • Collaborate with Key Market Managers in EMEA to prioritize sales initiatives.
  • Document all sales activities in the designated sales tool.

Business Execution:

  • Manage customer interactions and communications effectively.
  • Coordinate closely with Key Market Managers to strategize customer retention and quarterly forecasting.
  • Evaluate and assess the impact of sales activities.
  • Oversee budget management and financial reporting.
  • Submit timely reports, including weekly updates, expense reports, and quarterly forecasts.
  • Support clinical initiatives as needed.
  • Conduct clinical in-service training on all products.
  • Follow up on leads generated by the company.
  • Represent Candela at industry events, workshops, and conferences.
  • Organize logistics and agendas for workshops.

Customer Engagement:

  • Inform customers about existing and new Candela products.
  • Promote Candela's service policies.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

Marketing Collaboration:

  • Propose event collaborations with the marketing team.
  • Recommend participants for national and international congresses.

Interdepartmental Relations:

Collaborate with various departments to gather and share customer insights.

Reporting Responsibilities:

Document all significant data in the SalesForce tool.

Performance Metrics:

Monitor key sales indicators, including sector revenue, market share, and performance against budgetary goals.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in medical sales is preferred.
  • Experience in the aesthetics industry is advantageous.
  • A strong desire to sell capital equipment with a market leader, accompanied by competitive compensation.

Educational Background:

  • A BS/BA degree or higher is preferred, or equivalent experience in the medical/aesthetic devices sector.
  • Fluency in English, with native proficiency or full professional capability required.
