We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Healthcare Practitioner to join our team at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, safe, and effective care to patients in our acute medical units, Ambulatory Emergency Care Unit/Same Day Emergency Care Unit, and fast flow medical unit.
Main Responsibilities- Assess, investigate, diagnose, treat, and manage patients with undifferentiated healthcare problems.
- Work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
- Provide leadership, supervision, and education to nursing staff, colleagues, and the wider medical team.
- Support junior clinicians in planning and managing episodes of patient care.
- Act as a role model for junior clinicians and practice in an autonomous, professional, and self-directed manner.
- 1st Level Registered Professional or equivalent.
- Appropriate undergraduate degree.
- Master degree in Advanced Practice.
- Non-Medical Prescriber.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS).
- Focused Acute Medicine Ultrasound (FAMUS).
