Ultrasound Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Specialist to join our team at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for conducting a range of ultrasound examinations, including obstetric, gynaecological, general abdominal, and vascular studies. You will also assist in the training of student sonographers and have the opportunity to develop your skills in new technology.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct ultrasound examinations to a high standard, using your expertise and knowledge to ensure accurate diagnoses
* Assist in the training of student sonographers, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills
* Develop your skills in new technology, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging
* Work as a senior member of a multi-disciplinary team, providing a high-quality service to patients
Requirements:
* Ultrasound case accredited course with experience or current student due to qualify
* MSC/PGD Ultrasound or Vascular science Qualification or equivalent
* Post Graduate experience desirable
* Experience training students desirable
