Position Overview

As a Landscape Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining the beautiful outdoor spaces that enhance the quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the upkeep of all grassy areas, including mowing, trimming, and weed management.
  • Ensure the health and aesthetics of trees and shrubs through regular maintenance, including pruning and stability assessments.
  • Care for flower beds, border plants, hanging baskets, and potted plants to create vibrant outdoor environments.
  • Conduct general maintenance tasks such as sweeping, litter removal, and leaf raking on paved areas.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness in tool sheds and storage areas, ensuring all gardening equipment is in good condition.
  • Assist the Maintenance Operative with basic maintenance and decorating tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in grounds maintenance and a genuine passion for gardening. Experience in a large commercial setting, knowledge of horticultural regulations, and relevant qualifications are preferred. Strong customer service skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team are essential. Practical skills in painting and decorating will be beneficial.
