About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Specialist to join our Safeguarding Children's Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and wellbeing of children in care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist advice and support to healthcare professionals and other stakeholders on safeguarding children and young people.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the effective delivery of safeguarding services.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-agency teams to ensure the health and wellbeing of children in care.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of training programs for healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of care.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a specialization in Safeguarding Children or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years post-registration experience in a relevant role.
  • Sound knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multi-agency teams.
