Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Service Advisor to enhance our operations and ensure a seamless experience for our customers at Arnold Clark.
Working Hours
This is a full-time position, with hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, including rotational Saturdays.
Role Responsibilities
The Service Advisor plays a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our clients seeking vehicle maintenance and repairs. We are looking for a personable and articulate individual who can deliver outstanding customer service, regardless of the day or time.
This position is ideal for candidates with prior experience in customer service who take pride in exceeding customer expectations and fostering positive interactions.
Key Duties Include:

  • Addressing all customer inquiries regarding service and vehicle repairs with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Collaborating with the workshop and bodyshop teams to ensure timely progress of work.
  • Managing all computer-based tasks, including purchasing and invoicing, to safeguard both customer and company interests.
  • Informing customers of any vehicle issues or necessary repairs, providing clear and precise solutions.
  • Handling dissatisfied customers with empathy, assuring them that their concerns will be addressed effectively.
  • Accurately maintaining customer records, including vehicle information and service histories.
  • Staying informed about aftersales products and services, with the ability to upsell when appropriate.
  • Ensuring the customer database is consistently updated and accurate.

Essential Qualifications
  • A strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service and the ability to resolve issues promptly.
  • Proficient computer skills and familiarity with IT systems and applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and influencing skills, with a talent for conveying complex information clearly.
  • Strong organizational abilities to prioritize tasks and manage the workshop's workload effectively.
  • Willingness to adhere to established processes and guidelines.
  • Good administrative skills to accurately record customer information.
  • A valid UK driving license.
