Position Overview

The role involves delivering comprehensive secretarial, administrative, and clerical assistance to the Clinical Genetics team in the management of patient care.

The successful candidate will collaborate with the administrative team to uphold patient quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

As a pivotal support in the administrative processes and digital systems:

  • Assist colleagues during their onboarding and continuous training as necessary.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of office operations to the team leader.
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Proficiency in English Language at Grade C or above.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent administrative experience.
  • Familiarity with MS Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Experience in administrative and receptionist roles.
  • Ability to manage one's own workload effectively.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience in a healthcare environment or similar setting.
