Position Overview
An exceptional opportunity has emerged for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the Genetics Laboratory team as an Administrative Coordinator. This role is pivotal in delivering essential administrative assistance to ensure the smooth operation of the laboratory.
The administrative team plays a vital role in supporting the Genetics Laboratory's daily functions. In addition to contributing to the overall objectives of the team, the successful candidate will assume specific responsibilities related to procurement within the department. This includes managing inventory orders, collaborating with various technical stakeholders, maintaining appropriate stock levels, and overseeing the management of incoming supplies.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will primarily operate within a designated research facility, with the expectation of occasional collaboration across multiple sites.

Qualifications
Essential
- GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English Language
- Experience with Medical Terminology or similar
Desirable
- AMSPAR or equivalent qualification in word processing
Knowledge

- Experience in a busy administrative role
- Prior administrative experience
- Ability to handle telephone and email inquiries
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
