Join Our Team as a Lead Subsea Installation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Lead Subsea Installation Specialist to become a vital part of our Installation & Project Engineering (IPE) team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing technical challenges during tenders and projects while ensuring the maintenance of discipline expertise and the development of innovative capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and oversee installation work packages for various projects.
  • Ensure project scopes are delivered within budget, adhering to quality and timelines.
  • Manage both technical and commercial scope changes effectively.
  • Coordinate a team of engineers, fostering their professional growth.
  • Act as the technical point of contact for specific installation subjects.
  • Facilitate communication and manage interfaces with all stakeholders, including clients and suppliers.
  • Deliver high-quality documentation and studies related to tenders and projects through rigorous reviews.
  • Supervise engineering activities concerning the preparation and installation of products.
  • Plan and review specific procedures and associated calculation notes.
  • Support vessel mobilization and installation phases to ensure successful project execution.
  • Conduct activities in compliance with project standards regarding Quality, Cost, and Time.
  • Possibly serve as the Technical Owner for specific subjects/products, making decisions on subcontractor selection and overseeing their work.
  • Validate concepts while considering HSEQ criteria.
  • Engage in the development of our discipline and mentor junior engineers.
  • Take ownership of a technical expertise area and contribute to the enhancement of corporate standards and guidelines.
  • Propose and advocate for innovative solutions that reduce costs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master of Engineering degree with relevant experience in the energy sector.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Offshore/Subsea installation.
  • Expertise in two or more of the following areas: Subsea Structures Installation, Hook-ups, Riser systems, Flexible Flowlines, Umbilicals, and Mooring Installation.
  • Experience in deep and ultradeep water construction.
  • Proven track record in Tenders and Projects.
  • Strong background in project or contractual management.
  • Experience in developing operational documentation such as procedures and task plans.
  • High level of operational offshore experience.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Strong planning, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Experience in leading teams and supervising workloads.
  • Ability to adapt to diverse working cultures and behaviors.
  • Fluency in English.
