Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Lead Installation Engineering Specialist to become a vital part of our Installation & Project Engineering (IPE) team. In this role, you will serve as the technical representative for various projects and tenders, addressing technical challenges while ensuring the maintenance of disciplinary expertise and fostering the development of new capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and manage installation work packages across Tenders, FEEDs, or Projects.
  • Ensure delivery of scopes within budget, adhering to quality standards and timelines.
  • Oversee technical and commercial scope changes effectively.
  • Coordinate and mentor a team of engineers, contributing to their professional growth.
  • Act as the technical point of contact for specific installation subjects.
  • Manage interfaces with all stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Deliver high-quality documentation and studies related to tenders, FEEDs, and projects through thorough reviews.
  • Supervise engineering activities associated with the preparation and installation of products.
  • Plan, develop, and review specific procedures and associated calculation notes.
  • Support vessel mobilization and installation phases to ensure successful project execution.
  • Conduct activities in compliance with project standards regarding Quality, Cost, and Time.
  • May serve as the Technical Owner for specific subjects/products, overseeing subcontractor choices and technical oversight.
  • Validate concepts and support changes while considering HSEQ criteria.
  • Actively engage in the development of our discipline and mentor junior engineers.
  • Take ownership of and promote areas of technical expertise, contributing to the update or development of corporate standards.
  • Propose and advocate for innovative solutions aimed at cost reduction.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Master of Engineering degree with relevant experience in the energy sector.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Offshore/Subsea installation.
  • Expertise in two or more of the following areas: Subsea Structures Installation, Hook-ups, Riser systems, Flexible Flowlines, Umbilicals, and Mooring Installation.
  • Experience in deep and ultradeep water construction.
  • Familiarity with Tenders and Projects.
  • Practical experience in project or contractual management.
  • Experience in developing operational documentation, including procedures and task plans.
  • High level of relevant operational offshore experience.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Strong capacity to prioritize, plan, coordinate, and communicate effectively.
  • Experience in leading teams and supervising workloads.
  • Commitment to the development of engineers.
  • Ability to adapt to diverse working cultures and behaviors.
  • Fluency in English.
