We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Installation Methods Engineer to join our Department Installation & Project Engineering within the Global Project Centre - West. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation of subsea structures, mooring systems, risers systems, flexible flowlines, and/or umbilicals.
Main Responsibilities:- Team Supervision: Supervise a team of engineers and a package to ensure successful project execution.
- Interface Management: Oversee all external interfaces (clients, suppliers) and internal (other disciplines, installation, manufacturing, purchase) to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Document Preparation: Prepare documents and preliminary studies related to tenders, FEEDs, and projects developed by the Group.
- Autonomy and Supervision: Be autonomous and supervise the engineering activities related to the preparation and offshore installation of products.
- Procedure Planning: Plan, prepare, and confirm specific procedures (validation tests on site, transportation, and installation) and associated calculation notes (design lifting slings) defining priorities.
- Technical Validation: Participate in vessel mobilization and installation phases on vessel to validate technical solutions while respecting the Group's HSEQ rules.
- Project Execution: Ensure that project activities are conducted in compliance with Project standards in terms of Quality, Cost, and Time.
- Contractor Management: Be the technical owner and ensure the choice of contractors and supervise subcontracted studies.
- Concept Validation: Validate concepts and plan changes accounting for HSEQ criteria.
- Development and Improvement: Validate developments and propose appropriate improvements, taking into account the Group's HSEQ standards.
- Team Development: Actively participate in the development and progression of our team.
- Expertise Consolidation: Actively participate in the consolidation of the expertise of the installation team.
- Innovation: Offer innovative solutions that enable the reduction of costs.
- Education: Graduated with a Master of Engineering and relevant work experience in the energy sector.
- Experience: Subsea Structures Installation and/or Flexible Flowlines/Umbilicals experience required. Mooring Installation and other relevant experience is desirable.
- Offshore Operations: Experience of Offshore Operations is essential.
- Leadership and Communication: Autonomy, capacity to coordinate, and communicate are key assets to succeed at this position.
- Team Leadership: Experience leading teams is required.
- Language: Fluent English is required.
