We are seeking a Senior Installation Methods Engineer to join our Installation & Project Engineering Department within the Global Project Centre - West. In this role, you will be pivotal in overseeing the installation of subsea structures, mooring systems, riser systems, flexible flowlines, and umbilicals. Your responsibilities will include preparing the project scope and providing support to the offshore team during operations, ensuring effective communication with clients, suppliers, offshore personnel, and the design team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of engineers and manage specific project packages,
  • Oversee all external and internal interfaces, including clients, suppliers, and various disciplines such as installation, manufacturing, and procurement,
  • Prepare documentation and preliminary studies related to tenders, FEEDs, and projects undertaken by the Group,
  • Operate autonomously while supervising engineering activities related to the preparation and offshore installation of products,
  • Plan, prepare, and validate specific procedures (site validation tests, transportation, and installation) along with associated calculation notes (design lifting slings) to establish priorities,
  • Participate in vessel mobilization and installation phases to validate technical solutions while adhering to Group HSEQ standards,
  • Ensure compliance with Project standards regarding Quality, Cost, and Time,
  • Act as the technical owner, making contractor selections and supervising subcontracted studies,
  • Validate concepts and plan modifications considering HSEQ criteria,
  • Validate developments and propose suitable enhancements, ensuring alignment with Group HSEQ standards,
  • Actively contribute to the growth and development of our team,
  • Foster the consolidation of expertise within the installation team,
  • Provide innovative solutions aimed at cost reduction.

Desired Experience:

  • A Master's degree in Engineering with relevant experience in the energy sector,
  • Experience in Subsea Structures Installation and/or Flexible Flowlines/Umbilicals is essential,
  • Mooring Installation experience is advantageous,
  • Familiarity with Offshore Operations,
  • Strong autonomy, coordination, and communication skills are vital for success in this role,
  • Proven experience in leading teams,
  • Proficiency in English is required.
