Subsea7 is in search of a skilled Lead Subsea Installation Specialist to become a vital member of their Installation & Project Engineer (IPE) team in London on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will oversee the deployment of subsea structures, mooring systems, riser systems, flexible flowlines, and umbilicals. Key responsibilities include developing scopes, supporting offshore teams, managing client and supplier interactions, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver installation work packages for Tenders, FEED, or Projects
  • Coordinate small engineering teams as required
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for installation-related matters
  • Engage with stakeholders effectively
  • Prepare and review documentation pertinent to tenders and projects
  • Oversee engineering activities
  • Plan, develop, and assess procedures and task plans
  • Support vessel mobilization and installation phases
  • Ensure compliance with project standards
  • Assist in decision-making and provide technical oversight as necessary
  • Mentor junior engineers
  • Contribute to discipline development
  • Propose innovative cost-saving solutions

Qualifications:

  • Master of Engineering with a minimum of 6 years of experience in Offshore/Subsea installation
  • Proficiency in the installation of subsea structures, riser systems, flexible flowlines, umbilicals, etc.
  • Experience in deepwater construction and working on tenders and projects
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively
  • Fluency in English is essential
