Vice President of Regional Sales - HT LE

POSITION OVERVIEW

This position is responsible for providing strategic direction and overseeing the execution of initiatives aimed at exceeding sales targets for the HT Sales Organization in the UK&I region. The role encompasses leadership over five teams, ensuring that each member meets the established revenue growth and retention objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet or exceed financial performance goals.
  • Implement corporate sales strategies and methodologies effectively.
  • Develop region-specific sales and operational strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Provide management and coaching to enhance team performance.
  • Collaborate with managers to empower them in coaching their teams for strategic territory management.
  • Exemplify excellence in Gartner's Leadership Principles.
  • Establish and uphold high standards, promoting a culture of high performance.
  • Guide the region in accurate sales forecasting.
  • Align the sales organization structure to optimize efficiency and meet corporate goals.
  • Consistently execute fundamental management practices and maintain effective support systems.
  • Lead by analyzing key performance indicators, setting objectives, and ensuring compliance.
  • Maintain high standards in Gartner's key initiatives and adoption practices.
  • Encourage a culture of accountability within the teams.
  • Enhance the use of account planning strategies as a foundation for opportunity management.
  • Act as a general manager for Team NCVI, fostering collaboration across business units to meet client expectations.
  • Embrace and drive change, including the implementation of new sales methodologies.
  • Establish a foundation for growth in headcount and business results to support corporate vision.
  • Develop succession plans and career pathways for team managers.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in service-oriented sales, preferably with experience in field sales management.
  • In-depth knowledge of the HT market is preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of exceptional sales performance within managed teams.
  • Preferably recognized as a top performer in the last two out of three years.
  • Strong understanding of the Gartner Sales Process.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Gartner Sales methodologies and systems.
  • Proven leadership in initiatives that have driven sales growth and success.
  • History of accurate forecasting in a management capacity.
  • Ability to understand and communicate essential business metrics effectively.
  • Experience in managing other managers.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and intellectual curiosity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and strong business acumen, with an understanding of the broader implications of decisions.
