About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and ambitious Regional Director to join our team at Jenrick Commercial. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving regional sales, profitability, and gross margin growth to budget through successful leadership, organizational plans, and outstanding project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Lead and direct the development of regional-level sales goals and business development action plans, and close new consulting engagements.
  • Account Management: Develop account management for the region, managing consulting engagements in the renewable energy sector.
  • Project Management: Assemble and lead project teams delivering on client engagements, ensuring high-quality work products and the effective use of resources.
  • Regional Business Management: Know and help manage the regional business by effectively using sales data, managing cost of sales for projects, and assessing regional financial results.
  • Thought Leadership: Contribute to renewable energy market thought leadership, internal research, and development of intellectual property.
  • Strategy Development: Help to formulate company strategy for targeting/approaching market segments and other growth opportunities.
  • Reporting: Ensure that key regional management reporting data for sales, contracts, and project costs is available in a timely fashion.
Management Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Provide direct leadership by setting, communicating, and modelling high standards of performance and professionalism.
  • Credibility and Work Ethic: Developing and maintaining a high level of personal credibility and work ethic management with staff and demonstrating consistent sound judgment.
  • Talent Development: Personally and actively involved in sourcing, selecting, developing, and training new talent in conjunction with other business leaders.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in environmental sciences, engineering, renewable energy technology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in the renewable/wind/offshore wind energy business, including geoscience/environmental surveying, permitting, safety, project development, construction, asset management, etc.
  • Track Record: A track record of successful business origination and project delivery to clients within the renewable energy industry.
  • Business Development and Client Service: Excellent business development and client service experience.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency with standard industry software tools, such as Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office suite.
