As a Key Account Executive, your primary focus will be to nurture and sustain relationships with essential client accounts that significantly influence the long-term prosperity of the organization. You will be tasked with identifying opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, and repeat business while addressing any issues or concerns to guarantee client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Sales team to develop and implement strategic account plans for key named accounts. Spearhead new business initiatives by researching, qualifying, contacting, presenting, and closing new clients within an assigned territory or market segment. Foster ongoing relationships with key customer stakeholders, comprehend their critical business challenges, and propose solutions that deliver value. Act as a liaison between field operations and Global Accounts teams in pursuit of new agreements, Value-Add/Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) commitments, and enhancing customer wallet-share. Oversee and manage a pipeline of opportunities at named accounts, encompassing renewals, projects, and share improvement initiatives. Relay customer activity, opportunity status, renewal status, and strategic plan progress to management. Engage in solution development efforts that effectively address customer needs. Collaborate with supplier sales resources to gain their support and create tailored solutions.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in outside sales or at least 3 years in strategic account and/or sales management. Demonstrated success in maintaining and developing key relationships. Understanding of business and management principles related to strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of personnel and resources. Ability to identify potential opportunities within assigned accounts and create new avenues for growth. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a talent for building robust client relationships. Strong negotiation and problem-solving capabilities. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Self-motivated and capable of working efficiently under pressure. Experience in executing within a matrix organization while managing multiple stakeholders and projects. Willingness to travel up to 25%.
