Company Overview: New Age Recruiters Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to take on the role of Lead Manager within our Children's Care Services.

Position Summary: The Lead Manager will oversee operations within multiple children's care facilities, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or an equivalent qualification.
  • A valid driving license and access to a vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise supported living services, focusing on compliance and operational excellence.
  • Engage with commissioners and oversee the management of tenders and frameworks.
  • Maintain a minimum of two years' experience working with children and young people in a residential environment within the last five years.
  • Ensure personal registration requirements with the relevant regulatory body are met.
  • Demonstrate a successful track record in managing supported living services effectively.
  • Exhibit a willingness to travel to various locations as required.
  • Fulfill the responsibilities of the Registered Manager as outlined in the Care Standards Act.
  • Ensure the care environment is suitable and sensitive to the needs of the children and young people, adhering to the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
  • Operate in alignment with statutory requirements and company policies.
  • Provide additional support to children facing crises and ensure staff are equipped to handle complex cases.
  • Identify sources of referrals for domiciliary services.
  • Take overall responsibility for the quality of care provided, including auditing care plans and personnel files.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies regarding probationary periods.
  • Address staff motivation and morale, providing support, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Consult with children and young people regarding the quality of care they receive.
  • Manage the environment in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, ensuring proper monitoring and reporting.
  • Utilize community resources effectively.
  • Create staff rotas that align with the needs of children and young people, facilitating smooth shift transitions.
  • Participate in required training and maintain satisfactory performance and attendance.
