Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled social worker with a focus on child safeguarding to join our dedicated team at Service Care Solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing a varied caseload involving Child Protection, Children in Need, and occasionally cases in legal proceedings.
  • Conducting S47 investigations.
  • Performing assessments, including single assessments, risk evaluations, and parenting assessments.
  • Engaging in collaborative efforts with various professionals and organizations to fulfill statutory obligations and address the needs of children, young individuals, and their support systems. This includes teamwork with law enforcement and educational institutions.
  • Managing Public Law Outline (PLO) cases.
  • Preparing court documentation and assessments.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Possession of a relevant degree or equivalent qualification as a qualified social worker.
  • Registered with the appropriate regulatory body.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with at-risk youth.
  • Capability to operate autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Current enhanced DBS check.
