Role Summary

We are seeking dedicated Senior Practitioners to join our Children with Disabilities service across the city. This role requires professionals with a solid background in safeguarding, capable of managing complex cases and conducting high-quality assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage interventions through child in need planning.
  • Support children in care and engage in safeguarding and court work.
  • Collaborate with multi-agency teams to develop and review child-friendly plans.
  • Foster effective partnerships with families and professionals to ensure equitable opportunities for disabled children.
  • Supervise and mentor newly qualified social workers and students.

About You

You should be a passionate and committed Social Worker with a recognized qualification and active registration with Social Work England. Experience in Children Services is essential.
